Citizens Gas
The Gas Operations Division distributes natural gas to more than 266,000 customers in Marion and Hamilton Counties. Gas Operations operates and maintains more than 3,800 miles of pipeline in the county. To help meet winter heating demand, the utility operates two liquefied natural gas facilities in Indianapolis and underground storage fields in Central Indiana. To ensure safe and reliable natural gas delivery, Citizens Gas continually invests millions of dollars to replace steel mains with more durable, longer-lasting plastic mains. |

Citizens Thermal Energy
District energy provides steam and chilled water from Citizens central plants. The energy is then piped to buildings in the district for space heating, domestic hot water heating and air conditioning. As a result, individual buildings don't require their own boilers, furnaces, chillers or air conditioners. For more information, visit www.citizensthermal.com |

Citizens Oil Division
The Citizens Oil Division has produced more than 6 million barrels of oil since it began production in 1969 at Plummer Field in Greene County, Indiana located about 70 miles west of Indianapolis. Since 1969, oil revenues have added about $38 million to the Utility's net income. That means reduced gas bills for Citizens' natural gas customers. |
